The City of Milwaukee is hosting Winter Maintenance Operator Certificate Program on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 7:30AM at the Zoofari Conference Center. This four-hour certificate program is targeted towards front line employees who are performing winter operations, includes but not limited to operators, crew leaders, and foremen. The program focuses on when and how to use snow and ice control materials, equipment, and operations. $75/person

 

And Winter Maintenance Supervisor on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 7AM at our DPW Headquarters. This eight hour program  is targeted towards supervisors and managers of snow and ice control operations. This certificate program helps those in charge of winter operations understand all facets of what goes into developing and maintaining an effective winter maintenance program, resulting in more effective, efficient, equitable and environmentally friendly snow and ice control. Cost is $150/person and lunch is included.
