The Wisconsin Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) is excited to return to the UW-Platteville campus for its 2025 fall conference October 29-31. This will be an opportunity for faculty and students alike to meet professionals in the public works field from around Wisconsin, including engineers with specialties including municipal engineering, transportation, water resources, and sustainability as well as directors and managers of fleets and public works departments.
The best part? Thanks to the many distinguished UWP alum and companies and agencies who rely on UWP to provide future staff, all conference activities and meals are free to UWP faculty and students. Our only request is that you register for the events that require meal counts or have attendance capacity limitations. Registration will also give you access to the Whova mobile application we use as the platform for our conference information, feedback and networking.
The conference offers several opportunities for you to participate:
Wednesday, October 29
Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31

UWP Classroom Participation: Any faculty member may request a classroom visit by one or more public works professionals during a designated class time to share their professional experience. This could include discussion on engineering topics, projects, company profile, or any other topics the faculty member identifies. To coordinate this, please contact Eric Dundee at EricD@MadSewer.org. Eric, a proud Pioneer, currently serves as the APWA Wisconsin Chapter Fall Conference Planning Committee Chair and is the Executive Director of the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District.
